MusicEdConnect Online Conference

I’m looking forward to returning to the MusicEdConnect live online music teaching conference. In a past session, I posed the question as to how many participants had never been to a big regional or national conference and the answer came back 90%! This conference really fills a niche for those who prefer to do their professional development at home. This year, I’ll be performing the first ever MusicEdConnect.com concert and offering a showcase on my popular Creative Chords keyboard improvisation method for beginners.

Master Class

  • Willis Music Store

Keyboard Teachers Association

Master Class occurs annually in the winter. Each year, the KTA invites an accomplished and respected professional to teach a master class for chosen students from each teacher’s studio. Students perform selected repertoire from memory in a recital setting, and receive valuable feedback from the master teacher. All students and teachers benefit from the different perspective a master teacher provides, delving deeper into the music and learning new approaches that may be incorporated into other repertoire. Past Master Teachers have included professors from UC/Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and local composers.
