Looking for fun, challenging piano music at a low price with no copy restrictions?
Ever notice how the wide range of music books available for lower level students suddenly drops off in the upper levels? It’s because there are simply more beginning students than advanced and publishers know it. As piano lesson attrition sets in with teenaged students, books sales fall off. So the market for fun, challenging music by living composers is simply smaller but the production costs are the same as beginning books.
The result is that that after learning to play from the latest multi-style piano methods, supplemented by cool “kid” arrangements of movie themes and pop tunes, advancing students are expected to subsist on a classical-only diet if they want to continue to play at their level.
The sheet music from my solo piano recordings fills this gap for a number of my adult and advancing students. How about you?
