Dear Music Lover,

Back in 1993 when I released my first recording in the "new" medium of compact discs, my intent was simply to capture and attractively package my music so I could make it available to fans at my concerts. Since I wasn’t interested in compromising the music to fit record label marketing concerns, I chose the bewildering path of producing a CD (and cassette!) on my own. At the time, neither recording engineers or manufacturers would work with individual artists. Only a few record stores would carry self-produced "vanity" releases and, then, only on consignment. (Remember, this was before anyone had heard of Indie labels or Ipods and the Internet was still an oddity.) Today, it's easier to record and distribute a do-it-yourself project but my motivation remains the same. I still strive for high-fidelity, professional packaged recordings so that you can enjoy my music in its purest possible form.
