 After hearing requests from quite a few of you over the last few years, we decided to go ahead and produce an examples audio CD for the popular book I wrote with Scott Houston called "The Next Step."

Every single musical example shown in the book has a matching track of me playing it on the CD. It should be very helpful for those of you who want to "hear" the music, not just "see" it.

This book has been a real help to many who have gotten started playing in our style after previously having taken traditional classical lessons. It shows some things notated in the bass clef and takes "baby steps" to help wean previously "I only play what is written" types from the necessity to see everything notated. It's a great book.
