Also includes Every Time I Fell The Spirit and What a Friend We Have in
Jesus; Wade in the Water is combined with You Gotta Sing.
For each, there is a full score and parts for piano/vocal, tenor sax, Bb trumpet, bass,
drums and optional guitar. The vocal part is optional and may be used for congregational
singing (with good leadership from a choir or vocalist). While sample solos are given,
Sowash also encourages even inexperienced players to improvise by suggesting a set of
notes to start from. Suggested uses include instrumental anthems, congregational singing,
sacred concerts, celebrations, and entertainment for church functions. If you've ever
wanted to hear What a Friend We Have in Jesus with Latin rhythm, you'll want
this book! - Lara West, - Cross Accent, Vol 14, Num.3 |

| 6. Jesus Loves Me - No your Grandmas version
of the Sunday school classic. Starts with a jazz waltz feel until a sudden stop when the
piano sets up a funky back beat feel and the music really starts to kick. A key change
near the end moves the energy up again for a really big ending. |
